This little furoshiki from the Musubi brand , in orange, green, purple, black and gold colors, represents Sukeroku , a character from a Kabuki theater play (one of the traditional forms of Japanese theater) “ Sukeroku Yukari no Edo Zakura ”.
Made in Japan, it comes from the collection of designer duo Cochae (Jikuhara Yosuke and Miki Takeda) known for their ranges of playful products inspired by origami.
Furoshiki is a traditional Japanese technique for wrapping gifts and everyday objects using a square of fabric and specific knots and folds. In this size, it can be used as a napkin, a small tablecloth, as a book wrapper or for your lunch basket!
Of the bag handles, leather or wood are available, to accessorize your furoshiki and transform it into a bag to carry in the hand or on the shoulder.
