This little furoshiki from the Musubi brand has a pattern of pink camellia flowers on a red background .
Made in Japan , it comes from the collection around the work of the painter Yumeji Takehisa , from the romantic movement Taisho and known for his paintings of Binjin-ga ( “ beautiful woman paintings » ).
Furoshiki is a traditional Japanese technique for wrapping gifts and everyday objects using a square of fabric. In this size it can also serve well packaging for your lunch basket as well as napkins and small tablecloths!
