This little furoshiki from the Japanese brand Musubi is patterned with yellow, taupe and purple dogs . Made in Japan, it comes from the collection of designer duo Cochae (Jikuhara Yosuke and Miki Takeda) known for their ranges of playful products inspired by origami.
Furoshiki is a traditional Japanese technique for wrapping gifts and everyday objects using a square of fabric. In this size, it can be used as a napkin, a small tablecloth or as packaging for your lunch basket!
In order to accessorize your furoshiki , bag handles, in wood or leather, are available in store and on the e-shop. They will allow you to transform your furoshiki into a bag that will open and close easily.
You can also find other folds such as the bundle, the basket, the gift wrappers, the bottle bag, the package bento and many others in our book “The Furoshiki Workshop” .
