This large furoshiki from the Japanese brand Musubi has a pattern of red camellia flowers on a light gray background.
Made in Japan, it comes from the collection around the work of the painter Yumeji Takehisa, from the romantic movement Taisho and known for his paintings of Binjin-ga ( “ beautiful woman paintings » ).
Furoshiki is a traditional Japanese technique for wrapping gifts and everyday objects using a square of fabric. In this size, it can be used as a picnic tablecloth, a handbag or shopping bag or simply as a decorative element in its own right, hung like a wall hanging.
Two types of accessories are available on the site to enhance your furoshiki :
- A wooden clasp that allows you to transform your furoshiki in bag which will open and close easily.
- A selection of handles leather to carry your bag furoshiki by hand or on the shoulder.
