This pretty furoshiki is a Japanese fabric from the Musubi brand, with patterns of:

  • tai (sea bream),
  • takarabune ( takara (treasure) and bune (boat): treasure ship, driven by the 7 Japanese Deities of Happiness during the first three days of the New Year,
  • shichifukujin ( shichi (seven), fuku (happiness) and jin (god): the 7 Deities of Happiness bringing good fortune.

F Made in Japan, it comes from the collection of the designer duo Cochae known for their animal motifs.

It can also be used as packaging for medium-sized gifts or bottles but also for making small bags.

Two types of accessories are available on the site to enhance your furoshiki :

  • A wooden clasp in two different sizes that allows you to transform your furoshiki in bag which will open and close easily thanks to the magnet system without having to repeat folding;
  • As well as a selection of handles leather in various colors which allows you to create a bag to carry in the hand or on the shoulder.

Don't forget to check out our tutorials furoshiki on the blog to discover the different bag folds :

You can also discover other folds such as the bundle, the basket, the gift wrappers, the bottle bag, the package bento and many others in our book “The Furoshiki Workshop” .
