THE RETRO MULTICOLOR RANGE
This multicolored universe reminds me of the joyful and welcoming decoration of a children's nursery! I had already imagined this colorful range when our son Ulysses was born. We had decided to apply the 1st paper which appears on the packet of Japanese paper squares (the M356 ) on a section of wall of his room as wallpaper. It then served as a colored base for the entire decoration!
I chose to add to this paper, and more broadly to this origami pouch, Japanese ceramics and other small elements in primary colors which blend perfectly with the soft tones of mauve and water green of this assortment of paper. This play of color contrasts reminds me of traditional Japanese crafts but also of celebration, fireworks, joy of living and childhood...
THE NIGHT BLUE, GREEN AND FLUO PINK RANGE
When I was a child, I had the pleasure of choosing a green and purple striped outfit, made up of a sweatshirt and a skirt with a bit of a sportswear feel, in a chic store in Saint-Germain- des-Prés. I must have been around 12 years old and I remember this moment spent with my mother very well. The choice of this set was both surprising and obvious!
I am convinced that the colors we instinctively turn to, the palettes that naturally attract us, are often unconscious choices linked to our memories. I think that's what this colorful world reminds me of: an outfit linked to my childhood! This one is fresher, more flowery but it reminds me of the soft mix of green and purple in my ensemble.
THE YELLOW, GREEN AND PINK RANGE
This colorful range in pastel tones reminds me of a lot of sweetness, something linked to sweets, Japanese confectionery, wagashi . I particularly appreciate the touches of yellow which enhance the range and bring light to it!
THE BLUE, YELLOW, CREAM AND GOLD RANGE
When I see this range, I imagine myself on cloud nine! Perhaps this is linked to the sky blue background used for this shot? It reminds me of lightness, something very airy with its soft colors and the presence of birds. I can very well imagine a pleasant moment shared with Japanese friends during a Western-style tea ceremony.
THE NIGHT BLUE, PINK, PURPLE AND GREEN RANGE
With this colorful universe, I offer you a bit of retro poetry, with a mix of tableware and vintage textiles: an egg cup in apple green wood, a fruity card, small cherry blossoms in pink and red wood, an origami kimono mauve ...
