Tips: how to make a bouquet of paper flowers?
Since the start of the school year, lots of nice things have been happening and it is with great joy that I present to you today a new project that has been on my mind for some time, a series of video tutorials!
For our first special “tips” video, we chose crepe paper flowers . Let's learn how to make delicate flowers to compose a pretty bouquet! You can have fun using shapes and colors. For the rest, I'll let you discover what images will explain better than words! Click on the image below to watch the video.
For the basic materials for making paper flowers, you will need:
- crepe paper , approximately 180g/m2 so that the petals of your flowers have a good hold,
- thin stems for mounting flowers and thick stems for mounting flowers on branches,
- a pair of precision scissors for precise cutting of your crepe paper,
- white glue with precision tip for gluing your petals,
- floratape or florist’s tape to dress your stems,
- bundles of flower pistils .
These supplies are all available in store and on the e-shop, as well as our flower and foliage kits in crepe paper and Japanese paper in which we guide you step by step in creating colorful bouquets.
Don't hesitate to leave us your suggestions in the comments, we will take them into account for our next tips! I hope you like this new format.
A big thank you to Stéphanie Linca for carrying out this lovely project!
See you soon,
Adeline
