How to combine colors: Multicolor Harmony
Spring, more than any other season, makes me want colors! On this occasion, I really wanted to resume my series of articles of tips and advice around colorful associations.
For this new blog post, I wanted to offer you ranges of multicolored colors and show you how to combine colors together in a harmonious way.

If the subject of color interests you and you are not familiar with this series of articles, here are the two previous posts published around colored associations:
This is a type of article that I really want to offer you more often. So don’t hesitate to share your colorful questions with me in the comments!

When you visit the store, many of you tell me that this multitude of colors makes you feel good and brings you joy and cheerfulness! I particularly like to imagine colorful associations of this kind because it is a whole range of positive emotions that is available to us.

To develop your colorful range, I advise you first to start with a color that you particularly like, which makes you vibrate and to compose around it. To start, you can associate it with its complementary color, which is opposite your starting color on the color wheel, for example purple for yellow. This allows you to create a strong first contrast that really catches the eye!
If you don't know in which direction to go to compose your multicolored range, it may also be interesting to use the color wheel (by Johannes Itten) to guide you in your associations. You are free to play with secondary and tertiary colors, alternations of warm colors and cold colors, saturation differences, etc., to create a colorful harmony that you like.

HOW TO USE IT ?
The multicolored harmonies are invigorating! They will therefore be perfect for a living room such as a living room or a dining room, especially if these spaces are clear. They can also be very inspiring and therefore ideal in a workshop or office, for example.
I find that they stimulate the imagination particularly well and in my case, they inspire a multitude of creative projects: an origami mobile for a child's bedroom, a bouquet of crepe flowers for a festive table, a light garland for a living room, a birthday card...

HOW TO COMBINE IT?
The multi-colored harmonies are strong and already combine a significant number of colors together! It can be interesting, however, to play with warm and cool tones and see how a few changes in colored tones, more or less cold or warm, can transform your entire range.

I am taking advantage of this article to tell you in a few words about our new “Crepon Flower Bouquet” Mexico kit (photo below)! It is a multi-colored range with a dominance of warm tones which will be ideal for bringing a touch of color to an interior with the arrival of sunny days and the return of summer temperatures. I hope you like it as much as we do and will make you want to start making crepon flowers!
Because an image (several in this case!) is sometimes better than 1000 words, I have grouped throughout this article several photos of interior decorations, origami, bouquets of crepon flowers, very colorful Japanese paper creations to show you the different possible multicolored combinations!

What are your favorite colorful combinations?
Bonjour
