Watercolor course for adults > Introduction to botanical watercolor, beginner level

During this workshop, you will be introduced to the basics of botanical illustration . You will learn to draw, then paint a simple subject (subject depending on the day's collection) in a realistic way, with a more true-to-life rendering.
During this one-day course, you will have the opportunity to discover each stage of a botanical watercolor from proportional drawing, through basic techniques, color mixing - essential in botanical watercolor - to final drawing. You will work from live plants chosen according to the market, but also from photos . Throughout the day, you will be guided step by step by our guest artist Anne-Solange Tardy who will teach you everything you need to allow you to paint botanical subjects in a realistic and lively way.
This course is intended for beginners: you can come even if you have never held a paintbrush in your life! If you are used to practicing other watercolor styles, you will have the opportunity to learn new techniques. In any case, you will leave with everything you need to know to get started with botanical watercolors.

All equipment is provided , but feel free to bring your own if you wish. You will be able to discuss your equipment with Anne-Solange.

We have implemented a cancellation policy for creative workshops but given the difficulty of reselling canceled places, cancellation fees will be applied as follows:

Cancellation more than 7 days from the workshop date: no charges

Cancellation between 7 and 2 days of the workshop date: withholding 50% of the workshop price including tax

Cancellation less than 2 days from the workshop date: withholding 100% of the workshop price including tax
